Hamilton's fine arts community honored local benefactor Claire Fitton by naming the dance studio at the Fitton Center after her on Wednesday, Nov. 18. The announcement was part of the center's kick off of its annual fundraising campaign.

Miami University's 'Miami Mergers' broke the world record for the number of couples renewing their vows at the same time on Saturday, June 20. The record-setting 1,087 couples were part of the MU's Alumni Weekend events. 125 dozen cupcakes were baked for the event. The cupcakes were a traditional white cake with butter cream frosting for the campus catering service, Carillon Catering.
