The Butler County Health Department is administering the first live, attenuated intranasal (LAIV) H1N1 vaccines, a nasal spray, to health care workers aged 49 and younger at Princeton Pike Church of God on Friday, Oct. 16. The department has received 8,300 doses and expects more to come in the next few weeks.

A mass decontamination unit and mass casualty unit purchased with funds provided by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are delivered Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009 to the Middletown Regional Airport where they will be
